● Reflections on the Conference on Roots Within and Routes Across Eurasia and the Aga Khan Architecture Awards Seminar / Esra Şahin Burat
Southeast University (SEU) in Nanjing, China, hosted a major event at the end of last May. The conference, titled “Roots Within and Routes Across Eurasia: Migrations and Transformations of Cultures and Civilizations,” which brought together participants from across Eurasia and also hosted the Aga Khan Architecture Awards exhibition, was successfully held. The author shares details and impressions from the conference sessions and the awards ceremony, where themes such as routes, migrations, cultural encounters, changes, and continuity took center stage
