COMPETITIONS
• Ankara Keçiören Municipality Fatih Stadium Urban Design Idea Competition
The urban idea competition launched by the Ankara Keçiören Municipality has concluded. The competition sought urban - scale design concepts and enriched programmatic proposals for the site of the currently dysfunctional Fatih Stadium in Ankara's Keçiören district, emphasizing its spatial relationships with the immediate surroundings. Out of 153 total submissions evaluated in this single - stage, open national competition, 116 were in the professional category and 37 in the student category. The jury awarded three equivalent prizes, three equivalent honorable mentions, and four acquisitions in the professional category, alongside ten equivalent prizes in the student category.
• Trabzon Ortahisar Sanayi Neighborhood Urban Design Idea Competition
The urban idea competition launched by the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality has concluded. The competition sought holistic design proposals - ranging from macro - scale identity and zoning frameworks to medium-scale architectural and environmental designs - for a designated area in the Sanayi Neighborhood of Trabzon’s Ortahisar district. The project aimed to revitalize the area while respecting ecological conditions, enhancing civic life, and detailing key functional spaces. Out of 49 projects evaluated in this single - stage, open national competition, three main prizes and three equivalent honorable mentions were awarded.
